The Bachelorette bachelor Marquel Martin, a 26-year-old sponsorship salesman from Las Vegas, NV, is still in the running for Andi Dorfman's heart.

During the show's premiere, Marquel made quite an impression on Andi when he treated her to a cookie tasting. Marquel later shined during a group date in which he danced an erotic routine dressed as a cowboy for charity.

The Bachelorette's next two-hour episode will air on Sunday night at 8PM ET/PT and be followed by another broadcast on Monday night from 8-10PM ET/PT on ABC.

During a Thursday conference call with reporters, Marquel talked about the season thus far. Below is a portion of his interview. Click here to read more.

You have a very different style from the rest of the guys. Can you talk about that a little bit?

Marquel Martin: My fashion, I have just always loved fashion. I've always loved to try to be different without making a fool out of myself. But I like to have fun with it just, like, I joke around with it and everything like that.

It's not that I joke around with my fashion, but I'm not afraid to kind of step outside of the box. But I can't take full credit for that. I definitely have, being that my background is as a personal stylist, my personal stylist friends from Nordstrom kind of steered me to put something like that together. And it worked out! So, it's a lot of fun.

If you could plan any date for yourself and Andi, what would you do?

Marquel Martin: Any date for Andi and myself? I think, aside from snacking on cookies throughout the day, I'd definitely want to get in an element around other people.

Of course there's always that one-on-one time when it's just you and her, but I think, me, I'd want to see her around other people and showcasing that love and affection and having that unique relationship -- not in terms of, "Hey look at us," but I love to show my significant other off. That's how I kind of look at it.

I would definitely want to be somewhere public, like maybe shopping for example, you know? I'm sure she likes shopping. She dresses beautifully and obviously I love to shop as you may know or come to find out. I think it would just be real simple. It'd be a movie, probably, some shopping, a nice dinner, and just kind of being around other people. I think that's inspiring and I think our relationship would inspire as well.

If you could pick any TV or movie couple who compares to yourself and Andi, which pair would you pick?

Marquel Martin: Oh, gosh. I don't know too many Hollywood [people], but hopefully it would be one in which they're still together obviously and have a long-lasting relationship. So the only two that I know of right now are Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. I think they're still a couple although I don't really know the in's and out's.

But I only say that from not knowing their personal lives. I say that because I feel they've been together for a while now and I think they've kind of stood the test of time. They seem truly happy from pictures I look at and the family they've raised together. So I think me and Andi would be something along the lines of that.

Depending on what happens with Andi, would you ever be up for doing a spinoff show? Like what about Bachelor Pad? Would you ever be game for doing a reality show like that again?

Marquel Martin: I'm still in the game! I'm not sure Andi would be too pleased to hear that. That's not my focus. My primary focus is not on any kind of future show or spinoff. I'm kind of just living in the moment, and I think that she deserves my undivided attention, as do I. So, out of respect, that's my only focus at this point.

Who is the biggest threat in the house? Is there anyone you observed having a really strong connection with Andi that you're a little worried about?

Marquel Martin: If I'm going to be totally honest, I'm not one of those guys who has the mindset to feel threatened. It's not because I think I'm better than anyone else or anything of that sense. But to be threatened means that I don't have confidence in myself, and that's the way I kind of view it, and I definitely have confidence in myself and in my connection with Andi.

So, if there's any other connection that's threatening, maybe that will draw some red flags. But I'm not sure of the connections that she actually has. So, no, no individual guy in the house makes me feel that way, you know what I mean? Just because everyone's different, you know? So, no. I'm not threatened at all.

Have you noticed any spark in particular between Andi and Nick V. or Andi and Josh? Any obvious connection there?

Marquel Martin: Oh wow, rumors are interesting. Obviously you have to continue watching the show to see what actually happens, but to speak on Josh and Nick, I think they're great guys. So, I mean, I wouldn't say that that's totally out of the picture as well as I know myself and my connection with Andi. They have just as good a chance as I do.

I definitely hit it off with those two for sure just from a personality standpoint, just from a general kind of sense of things. So, yeah, you'll just have to wait and see. But I have nothing but good things to say about those two. Hopefully they'd say the same things about me, but I don't know. (Laughs)
