'The Bachelor's Michelle Money admits affair with married NBA player

The Bachelor bachelorette Michelle Money has admitted she had an affair with a married man -- NBA star Carlos Boozer.

"Yes, I was in a relationship with Carlos while he was still married. What I did was wrong," the controversial bachelorette told Life & Style in this week's issue of the magazine.

The Salt Lake City, UT resident reportedly met Boozer, who now plays for the Chicago Bulls, shortly after she had gotten divorced from her husband and he was playing for the Utah Jazz.

In her comments, Money suggested that Boozer -- who didn't file for divorce from his wife until March 2009 -- led her to believe he had already separated from his spouse when she began her relationship with him.

"I should never have been so naive to assume what I was told was true," she told Life & Style.

However, Money still takes responsibility for her actions and feels guilty for hurting Boozer's ex-wife Cece.

"I'm not trying to shy away from the fact that he was still married. I don't put that on Carlos. I don't put that on anyone but myself. I feel terrible for Cece for that pain she's had to go through and that I am a part of it," she said.

Money and Boozer reportedly ended their relationship in June 2009, and now the bachelorette -- who is competing to win Brad Womack's heart on The Bachelor's fifteenth season -- plans to learn from her mistakes and keeping moving forward.

"All I can do is try to do better with my life. I screwed up. But I can only try to do the best I can," Money explained.
