'The Bachelor 2' finalist Gwen revealed to be a divorcee

The NY Post reports that during yesterday's Howard Stern radio show, it was revealed that "The Bachelor 2" finalist Gwen, the odds-on favorite to win the show, is a divorcee. Gwen's past came back to haunt her yesterday when her ex called up Howard Stern to reveal her secret.

Gwen called in to the show later to say that "Bachelor" producers already knew about her divorce and that it will probably be covered on a future episode of the reality show. "It's OK if contestants were previously married," an ABC spokeswoman said yesterday. In fact, the winner last season, Amanda Marsh, was divorced.

"Having an ex is not a problem, but having kids would be in violation of the show's rules," the spokeswoman said. "All of the women go through thorough background checks."
