The Amazing Race winners Kelsey Gerckens and Joey Buttitta have taken their relationship to the next level.

While filming a segment for Hallmark Channel's Home & Family on Tuesday, Buttitta proposed to his girlfriend and co-worker in a video clip obtained by People.

When asked what his dream wedding would be, Buttitta said, "I think we're going to have to find out what our dream wedding would be," before reaching into his suit jacket's pocket for the ring.

"So I guess we'll just do this now," he noted.

Gerckens maintained a completely straight face, seemingly unaware of what was happening. But after a moment, she flashed a big smile.

"Kelsey, I love you so much, and we have run this amazing journey together and I love you. I can't imagine being with anyone else. Will you marry me?" Buttitta, 26, asked Gerckens, 25, during the episode that will air Wednesday.

"Oh my gosh," Gerckens said as she put her hands over her mouth in shock. "Yes!"

The couple hugged, Buttitta had the cameras zoom up on her diamond ring, and then each individual's parents walked up onstage to congratulate them both.

Buttitta and Gerckens, both news anchors in Santa Barbara, CA, crossed The Amazing Race's finish line in first place during Friday night's finale. Buttitta planned to use part of their $1 million to move in together and start the next chapter of their lives. Little did Gerckens know, he intended to propose.

The Home & Family episode will air Wednesday, December 16 at 10AM ET/PT on Hallmark Channel. And The Amazing Race will return with its 28th edition February 12 on CBS.
