The "Best Friends" team and YouTube personalities became the third team eliminated from the around-the-world competition after they arrived at the Race's third Pit Stop at Tanjun Aru Water Village in Sabah, Malaysian Borneo, in last place.

"It's a crazy opportunity to almost like act like a kid again," Joey said following his team's ouster. "We still had a fun time."

"The Amazing Race is the adventure of a lifetime. It was so cool. It was like a page out of a jungle book," Meghan added. "[Our fans] got so excited the last time around. They went on The Amazing Race with us and I wanted to be able to give our fans that experience again. It's slightly embarrassing that we're out so soon, but what can you do?... It was fun."

The third broadcast of The Amazing Race: All-Stars began with "Newlyweds" Brendon Villegas and Rachel Reilly leaving the second Pit Stop at the promenade on Shamian Island in Guangzhou, China, in first place at 6:22PM.

"Mother and Son" Margie O'Donnell and Luke Adams departed in second place at 6:23PM, and "The Country Singers" Jennifer Wayne and Caroline Cutbirth left the promenade right on their heels at 6:24PM.

The departure times for the six other teams are as follows: "Father and Son Cancer Survivors" David O'Leary and Connor O'Leary at 6:26PM, "The Globetrotters" Herbert "Flight Time" Lang and Nate "Big Easy" Lofton at 6:27PM, "The Cowboy Brothers" Cord McCoy and Jet McCoy at 6:28PM, "The Afghanimals" Leo Temory and Jamal Zadran at 6:36PM, "Engaged Couple" John Erck and Jessica Hoel at 6:49PM, and finally Joey and Meghan at 6:50PM.

The teams' first set of clues instructed them to fly to Sabah, Malaysian Borneo and then make their way to Kionsom Waterfall.

The teams learned right off the bat there were two flights they could book with the first having limited seating. Brendon and Rachel got stuck in traffic on the way to the airport, while Leo and Jamal didn't have much luck with any taxi drivers.

The teams who ended up on the first flight were Dave and Connor, Margie and Luke, Jet and Cord, Flight Time and Big Easy, Caroline and Jennifer, and Leo and Jamal -- who got there by the skin of their teeth.

Therefore, three teams got stuck on the second flight: Brendon and Rachel, Joey and Meghan and Jessica and John. The threesome planned to work together during the upcoming leg and basically just battle each other out on the course itself. Their flight arrived a whopping three hours behind the first flight.

Dave and Connor were the first team to arrive at the waterfall, and they were soon followed by Leo and Jamal, Jet and Cord, Margie and Luke, Flight Time and Big Easy, Caroline and Jennifer, Jessica and John, Brendon and Rachel, and Joey and Meghan.

It then became time for one member of each team to complete a Roadblock task.

For the Roadblock, the team members had to pick up their clue while carrying a Travelocity gnome and rappelling 10 stories down the cascading waters of the Kionsom Waterfall.

Dave opted to do the Roadblock task on behalf of his time in addition to Jamal, Cord, Luke, Flight Time, Jennifer, Jessica, Rachel, and Joey.

Cord had to go through the task twice because he forgot to retrieve the clue on his way down the first time. Flight Time also was forced to do the task because Big Easy was too big a guy to participate.

Dave and Connor finished the Roadblock in first place. They were then followed by Leo and Jamal, Margie and Luke, Jet and Cord, Caroline and Jennifer, Flight Time and Big Easy, Jessica and John, Brendon and Rachel, and Joey and Meghan.

The teams were then required to make their way to Kampung Tompinahaton and follow the marked path to the river.

Joey and Meghan's taxi left them at the Roadblock, so they wasted a good amount of time trying to find another. They knew they were really behind the pack, so they just started running around.

Dave and Connor arrived at the river before any of the other teams. They were soon followed by Leo and Jamal, Margie and Luke, Jet and Cord, Caroline and Jennifer, Flight Time and Big Easy, Jessica and John, Brendon and Rachel, and finally Meghan and Joey.

The teams' next set of clues instructed them to build a bamboo raft and brave the treacherous rapids down river to one of their two Detour choices.

"River Delivery" required the teams to transport goods to a village, deliver those goods to the village chief and then continue riding the rapids.

"Run Through the Jungle" required each team member to join a hunting safari and, using a blowpipe, successfully hit a fake parrot target. After completing their journey down river, they'd receive their next clue.

Dave and Connor, Leo and Jamal, Margie and Luke, and Jet and Cord participated in "River Delivery."

Caroline and Jennifer, Flight Time and Big Easy, Jessica and John, Brendon and Rachel, and Joey and Meghan all decided to try "Run Through the Jungle" instead.

Many of the teams encountered problems trying to steer their bamboo rafts down the river. Margie and Luke's raft sank at one point and wasn't cooperating with them, while Dave and Connor missed the entrance of their Detour where they needed to drop off the food to the chief. After heading down the river, Dave and Connor actually backpedaled and walked the food to the chief on land.

Leo and Jamal's bamboo raft got stuck in the raging rapids and it was coming apart. Caroline and Jennifer also got stuck and Jennifer said she almost broke a finger trying to put their raft back together. Brendon and Rachel seemed to have the worst time with the adventure. Their raft fell apart and they both fell in the water numerous times, losing their raft entirely at some points and drifting off in different directions from one another.

On a brighter note, Leo and Jamal helped Jet and Cord out during the Detour by revealing the spot where they'd meet the chief. Leo and Jamal admitted they absolutely would've lied to "The Cowboys" had it been their prior season, but this time around, they didn't want to be viewed by the other teams as sneaky or manipulative because then they'd get U-Turned.

Dave and Connor were surprisingly still the first team to earn their next clue. They were then followed by Jet and Cord, Leo and Jamal, Margie and Luke, Flight Time and Big Easy, Caroline and Jennifer, Jessica and John, Brendon and Rachel, and Meghan and Joey.

The teams were then instructed to make their way to Tanjun Aru Water Village, which would serve as the Race's third Pit Stop.

Dave and Connor met The Amazing Race host Phil Keoghan on the Pit Stop mat in first place. They were shocked they had managed to finish ahead of all the other teams. For finishing in first place, they won a trip for two to Budapest, Hungary.

Jet and Cord then claimed second place and Leo and Jamal finished in third.

Following Leo and Jamal were Margie and Luke in fourth place, Flight Time and Big Easy in fifth, Caroline and Jennifer in sixth, Jessica and John in seventh, and Brendon and Rachel in eighth place.

Joey and Meghan arrived in ninth -- and last -- place, seemingly expecting their elimination.

"We thought we were a pretty tough team and we are, but up against these people who are veterans, it's just insane. But it was awesome," Meghan told Phil.
