CBS has announced Survivor's 36th season will debut with a special two-hour episode on Wednesday, February 28 at 8PM ET/PT.

Beginning on March 7, Survivor will move to its regular time slot of Wednesday nights from 8-9PM ET/PT.

Filmed back-to-back with Survivor's currently-airing Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers edition earlier this year, Survivor's 36th season will once again take place in Fiji and feature castaways attempting to outwit, outplay and outlast each other to win $1 million grand prize.

Survivor's 36th season will also continue to be hosted by Jeff Probst.

The announcement was made as part of CBS unveiling its Winter 2018 schedule, which includes the premiere of The Amazing Race's 30th season and the first-ever American edition of Celebrity Big Brother.

The Amazing Race will premiere Wednesday, January 3 at 8PM ET/PT with a one-hour episode.

Celebrity Big Brother series has been scheduled to debut Wednesday, February 7 at 8PM ET/PT with a one-hour broadcast.

Survivor will not return until both The Amazing Race and Celebrity Big Brother seasons come to an end.

Survivor: Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers' finale is scheduled to air on Wednesday, December 20.

The castaways still in the running to be crowned "Sole Survivor" are Ben Driebergen, Mike "Dr. Mike" Zahalsky, Lauren Rimmer, Chrissy Hofbeck, Ryan Ulrich, Ashley Nolan, and Devon Pinto.
