Snooki and Rob Kardashian may reportedly go 'Dancing with the Stars'

By Elizabeth Kwiatkowski, 07/20/2011

Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Rob Kardashian are reportedly in talks to star on the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars.

Polizzi -- the 23-year-old Jersey Shore star -- and Kardashian -- the 24-year-old brother of Keeping Up with the Kardashians stars Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian -- are in discussions to participate in the thirteenth season of ABC's Dancing with the Stars, which premieres on Monday, September 19 at 8PM ET/PT, Us Weekly reported Wednesday.

"Rob is such a low-key guy, so it would be interesting to see if he'd come out of his shell," a source told Us.

Polizzi would be following in the footsteps of fellow Jersey Shore star Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, who competed on Dancing with the Stars Season 11 last fall.

Kardashian similarly wouldn't be the first member of his family to attempt to win the mirror ball trophy, as Kim Kardashian graced the Dancing with the Stars stage during its seventh season in 2008.

In addition, boxer Mike Tyson "is being considered" for Dancing with the Stars' next cast although his representative suggested the claims were "not true," while singer Christina Milian "is a possibility," another source told the magazine.
