'Simple Life' star Paris Hilton hit with $10 million defamation lawsuit

Socialite and reality TV star Paris Hilton is being sued for $10 million by her former fiance's ex-girlfriend.

Zeta Graff, who dated Greek shipping heir Paris Latsis before Hilton, has filed a defamation suit against the hotel heiress, claiming she made up stories about her, which appeared in print in the New York Post, MTV.com reported Tuesday.
One story cited in the suit was a bogus June 30 incident in which Graff allegedly tried to strangle Hilton in a jealous rage, MTV said.
In her suit, Graff said Hilton threatened to "destroy" her on the evening in question, then went to the club's promoters and demanded she be ejected.
