Selling Sunset star Christine Quinn missed the show's first-ever reunion due to a positive COVID-19 test result.

Season 5 of Selling Sunset was released Friday on Netflix, and its reunion filmed two days later on Sunday, April 24 and will be released for streaming on May 6.

Christine, however, was not at the filming with her co-stars.

"Christine tested positive for COVID and out of abundance of caution for the cast and crew, she did not attend the reunion," a representative for the 33-year-old real estate agent star told Us Weekly on Monday.

"Producers offered her the opportunity to video chat, but she declined because she wasn't feeling well enough to do it."

Fans began speculating about Christine's absence from the reunion special when Netflix shared a photo of the cast at the taping and Christine and Amanza Smith were nowhere to be found.

"Producers were scrambling with the positive COVID test result news for Christine," a source told the magazine. "The video chat option was a last-minute offer."

But according to the source, producers had been given a heads-up about Amanza's absence.

Amanza, 45, also has coronavirus and told her followers in a Sunday video on her Instagram Story that she planned to join the reunion via video chat from the comfort of her own home.

"I did my own hair and my own makeup," Amanza reportedly said in the video. "I have to say, I look a whole lot better than I feel."

Christine sparked a lot of drama on Selling Sunset's fifth season as she continued to struggle to get along with her fellow cast members.

Christine even said at one point that she felt "bullied" by her Oppenheim Group co-workers after an argument with Amanza. The former model, for example, wasn't invited to Heather Rae Young's bridal shower, although the women had once been close friends.

That doesn't mean, however, that the reunion was tame and uneventful.

Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause wrote Sunday on Instagram following the reunion taping that she had the "longest day everrrrrr."

"Feel like I got spat out of a tornado. I love our crazy family though," Chrishell, 40, said.

Chrishell was also presumably asked about her off-camera split from Jason Oppenheim, a 45-year-old real estate broker who owns the Los Angeles real estate firm Oppenheim Group.

Season 5 of Selling Sunset began with Chrishell and Jason going public with their relationship and announcing they were dating.

The season ended with them breaking up after Chrishell told Jason that she couldn't remain with him unless he wanted to start a family with her -- but he decided that he didn't want that life for himself.

Chrishell and Jason announced in December 2021 they had decided to call it quits on their romance after dating for less than one year.

Jason and Chrishell, who also competed on Dancing with the Stars in 2020, split only five months after going public with their romance.

Earlier this month, Jason told Us why he and Chrishell didn't want to film their breakup for Selling Sunset.

"It was an extremely difficult time and it was, I think, a conscious decision that we were not filmed together," Jason said ahead of the new season's April 22 premiere on Netflix. "I wasn't comfortable. I mean, it was a very difficult time."

Chrishell and Jason confirmed they were dating in July 2021 while vacationing in Italy with several of their fellow Selling Sunset co-stars.

The former couple eventually received support from their co-workers at the Oppenheim Group, but Chrishell faced some criticism and online scrutiny.

One hater on Instagram reportedly wrote how Chrishell was only "getting listings and selling them" because of her boss-turned-boyfriend.

"It would seem I am not the miserable one here," Chrishell fired back on Instagram late last year.

"When you are an agent on TV, you end up getting so much business you have to refer it out to others Bc there is only so much time in a day. The days of getting more listings because of rank in the office are long gone. But please take a [breath] and have a great day! Thanks for watching!!!!"
