Hugh Jackman's conquered the silver screen and the Broadway stage, and if Dancing with the Stars co-host Samantha Harris has her way, the dance floor could be his next target.

"He's a song and dance man. He's a Broadway guy," Harris told People. "He's got charisma and you know he can move."
Harris said that she had previously approached Jackman and proposed that he compete on the ABC dance reality show. She added that she had been extremely pleased with his response.
"He actually twirled and dipped me. I was so excited," she told People. "That made my year."
Dancing with the Stars' eighth season premieres on March 9 on ABC. The cast for the upcoming season is expected to be announced in February.
