Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna's life together is about to be put on display on E!'s new reality show Rob & Chyna, and one word sums their eight-month romance up best -- "complicated."

Kardashian, 29, and Chyna, 28, began dating in January, got engaged in April and then announced in May they are expecting a baby together.

Rumors circulated Kardashian got romantically involved with Chyna in the first place because he wanted revenge on his family since they've had tumultuous times in the last several years.

What better way to do that than pursue Chyna, the ex-fiancee of Tyga -- who is Kylie Jenner's current boyfriend -- and the mother of his child? Chyna and Jenner had bad blood over the situation and it's in the Kardashian family's nature to defend one another.

"I couldn't really say anything, I couldn't really feel comfortable about talking to any of my family members obviously about the situation," Kardashian admitted to Ryan Seacrest during an appearance on his On Air with Ryan Seacrest syndicated radio show.

"It was very, very complicated, but my happiness outweighed everything, honestly, at that point in my life. She was making me feel very comfortable, I didn't feel judged in her home, I was on my health tip, and I just felt very good."

Kardashian insisted his intentions with Chyna were pure and he never intended to upset his family. Kardashian never even gave his mother, Kris Jenner, a heads-up that he was proposing. 

"It's very complicated," Kardashian reiterated. "People probably think we did something out of spite or something like that, some crazy negative stuff, which never in a million years I would have a child out of spite. Everything just happened."

The couple has their share of ups and downs, as fans have already observed in Rob & Chyna previews, but they are still looking forward to their wedding.

"We have a date picked out. I obviously wanted to do it when I wasn't pregnant so we could turn up! We haven't started planning the wedding yet," Chyna explained to Seacrest.

"We're just doing one step at a time like first the baby and having these things come first, and then I feel like the wedding will follow after. I feel like the baby is more important right at this moment."

Chyna revealed she will "for sure" have some of Kardashian's sisters in their "big wedding," but poor Kardashian confesses he "has no friends" and the guys in his family "keep disappearing" except for Kanye West.

Kardashian is probably referring to the fact Scott Disick is no longer Kourtney Kardashian's significant other and Khloe Kardashian divorced Lamar Odom again.
