Rob Kardashian and girlfriend Blac Chyna's pursuit of their own reality show may be coming to fruition.

Chyna and Rob -- who hasn't appeared regularly on Keeping Up with the Kardashians for two years due to depression and serious weight gain -- are "hoping for a spinoff," according to a People insider.

"Chyna doesn't want to film with Rob's family. They both think a spinoff is the best business decision. They have had meetings and things look promising."

Rob would be following in the footsteps of his sisters, who have landed successful KUWTK spinoffs including Kourtney and Kim Take New York and Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami. Another spinoff was filmed in the Hamptons, and even Khloe had her own reality series with estranged husband Lamar Odom.

Rob, 28, and Chyna went public with their romance in January. Reports swirled at the time Rob's family accused Chyna of preying on Rob when he was most vulnerable -- shortly after his diabetes diagnosis -- and dating him to get revenge on Kylie Jenner, who's current boyfriend is Tyga, the father of Chyna's three-year-old son King Cairo.

Although a source previously told People that Kylie was "livid" about Rob's relationship and felt "super betrayed," the siblings hung out on Tuesday with Nicky Diamonds, the creator of a skateboarding brand. Rob and Kylie posed for Snapchats which Diamonds posted, and they both looked very happy.

"I see him all the time chill," Kylie tweeted after the photos surfaced, clarifying that it wasn't a meaningful reunion.

In the Snapchats, Rob sported a black sweatshirt and Los Angeles Dodgers hat, while Kylie was hugging her new adorable puppy.

Rob is reportedly "madly in love" with Chyna, so maybe his family just decided to accept it and move on. Rob is also finally embracing diet and exercise with his girlfriend's encouragement and help.

Rob competed on the thirteenth season of Dancing with the Stars and finished in second place with pro partner Cheryl Burke, losing to winners J.R. Martinez and his partner Karina Smirnoff.
