Now that "Posh Spice" is living in America, Victoria Beckham is apparently interested in putting her own stamp on America's biggest fashion reality show.
Each Project Runway season has featured a different celebrity serving as a guest judge for the show's New York Fashion Week runway show finales. Parker Posey served as a guest judge during the initial Project Runway edition won by first-season champion Jay McCarroll, former Will and Grace star Debra Messing served as a member of judging panel that crowned Chloe Dao the show's second-season champion, and New York Fashion Week founder Fern Mallis aided in the selection of third-season winner Jeffrey Sebelia.
Project Runway 4's finale will film during New York Fashion Week's fall fashion exhibition in February. Beckham's first foray into reality television with NBC's Victoria Beckham: Coming to America didn't pan out to well when it was scrapped this summer and shortened to a one-hour special so she could spend more time with soccer-star husband David and their family. However she'd presumably fair better on Project Runway -- as Posh does have experience as a clothing designer with her own clothing line VB. |
