Lance Bass is reportedly ready to show-off some of his boy-band dance moves.

The former 'N Sync member is "locked and loaded" to appear as a Dancing with the Stars seventh-season celebrity participant this fall, an insider told the New York Daily News in a Thursday report.

While Dancing with the Stars would represent Bass' first regular reality role, the 29-year-old does have several reality connections.

Bass first confirmed speculation that he was gay in July 2006 and at the same time disclosed that he was in a relationship with The Amazing Race fourth-season co-winner Reichen Lehmkuhl, as the two met when he served as Bass' real estate agent.

The couple then made numerous joint public appearances together before announcing that they were splitting in December 2006, though still trying to work on their relationship.  They subsequently split for good in January 2007.

Bass is also longtime friends with comedian Kathy Griffin and has previously appeared on her Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List reality show on Bravo.

Last year, he began developing a reality show that would form a new all-gay boy band for Logo, MTV Networks' gay-focused cable network.

Bass would be the second former 'N Sync member to participate in Dancing with the Stars, as Joey Fatone finished as the ABC reality series' fourth-season runner-up with professional partner Kym Johnson

Fatone has since parlayed his new Dancing with the Stars notoriety into hosting gigs on NBC's The Singing Bee and Celebrity Circus reality shows.

In addition, fellow former 'N Sync member JC Chasez currently serves as a judge on MTV's Randy Jackson Presents: America's Best Dance Crew; while Chris Kirkpatrick was recently cast to compete on the second season of CMT's Gone Country.
