Dancing with the Stars is apparently close to naming Samantha Harris' replacement.

Former Dancing with the Stars' celebrity participants Brooke Burke and Melissa Rycroft as well as TV personality Vanessa Minnillo are the only serious contenders remaining for Harris' co-hosting position, E! News reported Friday.

"They're only testing those three on camera for now," a production insider told E! News. "The testing will happen some time next week."

Harris -- who began co-hosting Dancing with the Stars with Tom Bergeron prior to its Spring 2006 second season -- announced late last month that she wouldn't be returning for the show's tenth season, which premieres March 22.

Rycroft, who competed on Dancing with the Stars eighth-season last spring, has worked as a correspondent for ABC's Good Morning America for the past several months and contributed to the network's 2010 Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest broadcast.  In addition, she also recently became a special correspondent for Entertainment Tonight.

Brooke, who won Dancing with the Stars' seventh season, previously helmed CBS' Rock Star reality series and several E! shows.

If ABC is unable to find a regular co-host, the network plans to "rotate past contestants" in Harris' former role as backstage interviewer, according to E! News, with Rycroft, Burke, Dancing with the Stars third season champ Drew Lachey, and Nancy O'Dell at the top of the list.
