Project Runway and The Real World could reportedly soon share the same production company.

Bunim-Murray Productions is "in talks" and "close to signing on" with The Weinstein Company, the company that owns Project Runway, to produce the show's sixth season, Daily Variety reported Friday.

Dan Cutforth, Jane Lipsitz and their Magical Elves production company have produced all of Project Runway's Bravo editions for The Weinstein Company, however the producers confirmed in May that they would not follow the show to Lifetime, which agreed in April to an unexpected five-year deal to broadcast Runway beginning with its sixth season.

Cutforth, Lipsitz and Magical Elves -- which also recently signed an exclusive first look development deal with Bravo's NBC Universal parent company -- are still producing Project Runway's fifth season, which will premiere July 16 and most likely be the last to air on Bravo.

In addition to The Real World, Bunim-Murray also produces E!'s Keeping up with the Kardashians and Living Lohan; Oxygen's Bad Girls Club; and Lifetime's America's Psychic Challenge.

Project Runway is currently slated to make its Lifetime debut in November.
