Nick Viall is no stranger to drama and surprises when appearing on The Bachelor franchise, but he probably didn't anticipate this one!

According to a source, Viall hooked up with one of Season 21's The Bachelor bachelorettes long before the show began filming last month, Us Weekly reported.

"During the first day of taping, all of the girls came out, and he actually had slept with one of them at a wedding and never called her again," the source told the magazine, revealing that it was a one-night stand.

Neither Viall or the woman allegedly acknowledged their past sexual encounter once they reunited on the show, which premieres in January 2017.

Viall might have been disappointed to see a familiar face on his journey to find lasting love because, according to a second insider, the Bachelor told producers that he "didn't want any girls on the show that he already knew or had a date with."

Viall reportedly explained that casting such a contestant would be "a waste of a person being there," so he clearly has no intention to reignite any former flames.

Viall, a 36-year-old software salesman originally from Wisconsin, has acquired quite the list of exes over time.

He competed on The Bachelorette twice for Andi Dorfman and Kaitlyn Bristowe but finished as the runner-up both times.

Viall also pursued a romance with Jennifer Saviano on the third season of Bachelor in Paradise, which aired this past summer.

While Viall was dumped by both Dorfman and Bristowe, he broke Saviano's heart at the final Rose Ceremony in Paradise after she confessed her love to him.

The Bachelor producers' decision to cast Viall in the leading role initially came as a shock to fans and former cast members due to his dating history and reputation.

Viall is a controversial figure in the franchise because he had sex with both Dorfman and Bristowe on their respective seasons of the show, and people assume he also slept with Saviano in Paradise because they enjoyed an overnight Fantasy Suite date together.
