NeNe Leakes announced four months ago she was quitting The Real Housewives of Atlanta, but that was apparently a big exaggeration.

Leakes, an original Atlanta Housewife, revealed in June she was leaving the Bravo reality show at the end of Season 7 because she was sick of all the drama. However, she's decided to make appearances on Season 8, E! News reported.

Leakes, 47, will reportedly serve as a guest in several episodes, just as Brandi Glanville will for the sixth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

According to sources close to production, The Real Housewives of Atlanta is currently taping its eighth edition in Jamaica and Leakes will show up unannounced much to the surprise of her unsuspecting co-stars.

The series' eighth season will also feature Shamea Morton, Sheree Whitfield, Kim Fields as well as returning cast members Cynthia Bailey, Kenya Moore, Kandi Burruss, Phaedra Parks, and Porsha Williams, E! News reported.

Leakes has her plate full because she'll be serving as a panelist on ABC's revival of the game show To Tell the Truth alongside Betty White. She also just signed on to star as Matron "Mama" Morton in the celebrity-friendly Broadway production of Chicago beginning November 23.

In addition to often gracing Fashion Police's co-hosts with her presence, Leakes previously competed on The Celebrity Apprentice and Dancing with the Stars' eighteenth season, during which she lasted seven weeks with her professional partner Tony Dovolani.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta is set to premiere Sunday, November 8 at 8PM ET/PT on Bravo.
