Leakes may be leaving the show due to ongoing clashes with her fellow The Real Housewives of Atlanta stars and an increasingly large ego that has damaged her friendship with Bravo executive and Watch What Happens Live! host Andy Cohen, the New York Daily Newsreported Sunday.
"She's alienated all of the women other than [Cynthia Bailey, who only joined the show last season in Season 3]," a source told the Daily News. "So, as of now, the plan is to 'phase' Leakes out within the first two to three episodes of [Season 4], which begins in October."
According to the Daily News, Leakes' aggressive behavior towards co-star Kim Zolciak -- who Leakes has clashed on and off with during the The Real Housewives of Atlanta's last two seasons and grabbed by the throat during one Season 2 altercation -- has led the network to reevaluate her continued involvement with the reality show.
In addition, Leakes has also allegedly been exhibiting "disrespectful" and "arrogant" behavior that has strained the friendship she and Cohen have developed since The Real Housewives of Atlanta premiered in 2008.
"[She] acts like there wouldn't be a network without her," another source told the Daily News, adding that Leakes' ego has become even larger since she participated in the filming of the currently-airing fourth-season of NBC's The Celebrity Apprentice last fall.
However, viewers could reportedly still continue to see Leakes on Bravo even if she leaves The Real Housewives of Atlanta. The reality star may eventually get her own spinoff show that has "been in the works for awhile," a source told the Daily News.
