According to Reuters, NBC has decided to spin an idea from an upcoming episode of Meet My Folks off into a new reality series. The new series, to be called Who Wants to Marry My Mom?, will permit the adult children of single mothers to pick a partner to share a fantasy vacation with Mom.
The show, which will debut with five episodes during the spring (perhaps during May sweeps?), is based on an upcoming "Meet My Folks" episode titled "Meet My Kids" that was previously reported here.
What's next? Maybe... a new reality show, Desperation, featuring programmers from the #4 network in February sweeps trying just about anything to save their season?
