Zap2It.com reports that MTV has announced that the 13th season of its "The Real World" reality show will take place in Paris.

The locale is the show's second outside the United States (London was the first) and the first in a country where English is not the dominant language. "The Real World's" "Road Rules" sister show will also be back next year. Its 12th season will take place in the South Seas.

"Both Paris and the South Seas have always been beacons of romance, mystery and adventure," says Jon Murray, co-creator of both shows and one of the principals at Bunim-Murray Productions, which produces them. "We can't think of more dramatic backdrops for our new cast members to begin their journeys together."
