"Jersey Shore" star Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino Tuesday became the fourth celebrity eliminated from "Dancing with the Stars" in Los Angeles.

"I definitely was (committed to the competition)," Sorrentino said upon learning he and professional dance partner Karina Smirnoff had been booted off the show.

"I told myself, 'If I get eliminated today, I put it all on the floor last night.' I bow out gracefully. ... I tried my best and at the end of the day somebody's got to go home. It is the fourth round and if I made it to the fourth round, that was my best, I guess."

Previously voted off this season were David Hasselhoff, Michael Bolton and Margaret Cho.

Still in the running for the coveted mirror ball trophy, along with their professional dance partners, are Rick Fox, Jennifer Grey, Florence Henderson, Kyle Massey, Brandy, Bristol Palin, Audrina Patridge and Kurt Warner.
