Married at First Sight star Shawniece Jackson has given fans a highly-anticipated update on her pregnancy and day-to-day life.

Fans haven't heard much from Shawniece and Jephte since, leaving questions and concerns about whether the Boston-based couple is even still together.

But on Monday, Shawniece shared a selfie of her tiny baby bump at 16 weeks as well as a lengthy caption.
"[I know] you guys want more personal stuff. I get i get it, but so much has happened in 8 months im just trying to get back on track. Recently it was announced that im expecting. Yes Baby P will be here some time in September," Shawniece revealed.
"The #YesShawnieceStyles brand will still be around but ive put a hold on things like excepting new clients, wig making and working full time in the salon. Ive grind my whole life since 15, working 2 jobs, taken free gigs doing what i gotta do to build my future. Now my baby is my future and the focus is on that and my health."
Shawniece is therefore slowing down and relaxing, with about four months left of her pregnancy.
"Grinding like i was isnt the best thing for me right now, and although im not high risk anymore i still gotta take it easy. I say thank you to you all, and i love each one of you," Shawniece said.

"The amount of love and support i get i wish i can thank you all one by one. I shall return doing big things in 2019. Until then i will be doing things in between that will keep y'all updated."
Shawniece added the following hashtags to her post: "#YesShawnieceStyles #YssWigs #yss #wigmaker #customunit #bostonhairstylist #bostonwigmaker #virginHumanhair #fromscratchwithlove #BeYouBeEveryWoman #pvdWigmaker #pvdhairstylist."
While it may seem unusual that Shawniece did not mention Jephte at all in her post, the pair have posted a few social media photos of themselves together since Married at First Sight's season wrapped.

The most recent photo was posted May 3 and shows the couple posing for a photo shoot while Shawniece is wearing a dress with the Haitian flag on it.
And Jephte did, however, write on Twitter on May 28, "Just told my baby. It's first joke lol I hope he orrrrr sheeeee lol is ready for a lifetime of getting roasted lol."

Shawniece and Jephte exchanged vows as complete strangers.
They didn't even know each other's names going into the eight-week Married at First Sight experiment, but after manys ups and downs, they decided to stay together on "Decision Day."
