Married at First Sight featured two couples getting stronger and one self-destructing during the latest episode of the Lifetime show's sixth season on Tuesday night.

The six strangers who agreed to marry at first sight were Jaclyn Schwartzberg, a 29-year-old teacher turned sales representative; Ryan Buckley, a 29-year-old firefighter; Molly Duff, a 25-year-old commercial insurance adjuster; Jonathan Francetic, a 28-year-old U.S. Army veteran and former financial associate; Shawniece Jackson, a 29-year-old entrepreneur and cosmetologist; and Jephte Pierre, a 26-year-old second grade teacher.

Matched by Married at First Sight experts Dr. Jessica Griffin, Dr. Pepper Schwartz, and Pastor Calvin Roberson, Jaclyn married Ryan, Molly walked down the aisle to Jonathan, and Shawniece became a wife to Jephte.

The episode kicked off on Day 39 of the marriages, with Ryan taking Jaclyn over his parents' house for dinner. Ryan admired his parents' marriage and hoped to have the same love and teamwork in his own union.

Jaclyn loved feeling like she was a part of Ryan's family, as his parents welcomed her with open arms.

Ryan and Jaclyn admitted to Ryan's parents their journey as a married couple had been challenging, and Jaclyn told the cameras their romance had been a roller-coaster. But Ryan's parents made it known their issues can't be solved in a few short weeks, as marriage will always have its ups and downs.

Meanwhile, Shawniece and Jephte discussed their expectations of being married, and Jephte admitted he learned about what marriage should be like by watching sitcoms on television starring African American families, such as The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

Jephte didn't really have anyone in his personal life to look up to relationship-wise, but the couple agreed their children will be their first priority when it becomes time to start a family.

On Day 40 of the marriages, Molly brought Jonathan to her mother's house to help paint her living room. The pair was joined by two of Molly's sisters, and the fact Jonathan was "pumped" to help and do chores with her family won him some major points in Molly's eyes.

Jonathan said the gathering felt "natural" and there was "no forced conversation," and although painting wasn't a fun activity, Molly said Jonathan made the day fun.

Once Jonathan left to grab dinner, Molly talked to her sisters about her husband and revealed every day was so different.

"Honestly, I don't think I'm going to know for sure until a couple of days before [Decision Day]," Molly confessed of whether she'd want to stay married or get divorced at the end of the process.

"I know he really likes me and is attracted to me and stuff. I think the only reason why he'd say 'no' is if he checks out at that point because I'm not at a certain point by Decision Day."

Molly and Jonathan were still missing physical intimacy in their relationship, as they had yet to consummate their marriage, but Molly was hopeful they could get to that point and sex would feel natural because they both shared the same opinion of what a marriage should be.

On Day 41 of the marriages, Ryan, Jonathan and Jephte met up at a bar to play some pool while Jaclyn entertained a little gathering for Molly and Shawniece at her home.

While Ryan was out, he vented to the guys about how Jaclyn expected him to give up his old apartment -- but he wanted to keep it in order to not screw over his old roommates and good friends.

Ryan acted like Jaclyn's request was controlling and a bit ridiculous, as he was willing to give it up six months from that point. Ryan claimed he couldn't back out of his lease and it was his decision to make since it was his own money and friends on the line.

But Jephte and Jonathan seemed to take Jaclyn's side. Jonathan thought Ryan's story sounded "fishy" and he didn't know how to be in a relationship.

The two guys warned Ryan that his actions were probably sending a message to Jaclyn that he wasn't fully committed to the process or their marriage. Jephte pointed out that Jaclyn probably assumed Ryan was keeping his apartment in the background in case their relationship didn't work out.

Meanwhile, Shawniece revealed to the girls Jephte -- being an extremely picky eater -- has taught her a lot of patience; however, she admitted she had "the biggest crush ever" on him and found him very handsome.

Molly then confessed she needed to work on blowing things out of proportion, but she realized she's a great communicator.

Jaclyn said she envisioned herself living in Europe for a year or two, but her self-described "gypsy soul" terrified Ryan, as he was a Boston boy who had no intention of traveling much or living elsewhere.

"I'm not going to change who I am just because we're married... I don't even know why she'd want me to. It goes against everything I believe in," Ryan told the cameras.

Once Ryan returned home, Jaclyn seemed annoyed because Ryan had been drinking. Jaclyn compared their romance to Jonathan and Molly, which really bothered Ryan since the other pair didn't even have sex yet.

Ryan then brought up how Jephte questioned whether Jaclyn "respected" him, and Jaclyn didn't understand why that was even a topic of discussion. Ryan explained that conversation stemmed from talk over whether he should sublease his apartment or not, and Jaclyn immediately appeared frustrated.

Jaclyn therefore walked away from Ryan, who was left in the kitchen alone speaking to cameras.

Jaclyn could be heard mocking Ryan in the background about how he never stopped talking, and she said in a confessional if they couldn't find common ground and compromise, their marriage probably wouldn't work out.

On Day 42 of the marriages, Jonathan and Molly bonded through a rock-climbing date.

Molly "felt lucky" to be married to someone she has "so much in common with." Molly never felt closer to Jonathan than when they were doing adventures or activities together, and they even shared a couple of kisses that day.

"We're so similar and we get along so well, and hopefully over time, our physical connection will grow and we'll have a successful relationship," Jonathan told the cameras.

That night, Ryan went to dinner with his friend Brian to vent about his feelings and seek some advice. Ryan explained Jaclyn had done "a total 180" the previous night -- that she got mad at him for no reason.

"Our ideas of an ideal marriage don't line up... Right now, I don't know if I want to get a divorce and I don't know if I want to stay together [with Jaclyn]," Ryan said in a confessional. "I was sure as ever that I wanted to stick it through. I always had those feelings, and now I don't even know."

Brian told Ryan that women want to understand the motivation and thought process behind men's decisions and he needed to explain himself better to her so that they could be on the same page.

The episode concluded with footage of Shawniece and Jephte cuddling, flirting and laughing.

Jephte could say, at this point in the process, he was "really happy" with his wife, and Shawniece told her husband that she was falling for him "more and more every day." It was clear this couple was falling in love with each other.
