Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Meryl Davis' relationship -- whatever that relationship might be -- is apparently still going strong.

In the photo, Davis was wearing an all-black ensemble, matching Chmerkovskiy's traditional black suit with a white dress shirt underneath. They struck a pose in which Chmerkovskiy had his arm wrapped around his former dance partner's waist.
Just one night earlier, at the Fred and Adele Astaire Awards in New York City, Chmerkovskiy teased Us Weekly about his alleged "romance" with Davis.
The two had amazing chemistry during their stint on Dancing with the Stars, which led fans to believe there had to be something going on between them. Ever since then, the pair has danced around the subject and questions regarding the status of their relationship.
"We're good. We're great. She's an amazing person," Chmerkovskiy told Us.
"[The dating rumors are] always circulating around us dancers. It's fine. That's the nature of what we do. We're always in close proximity to each other. In order to produce what Meryl and I produced, there had to have been so much chemistry, and we had it. And that's what leads people who are not used to that to speculate, which is great. I love that."
The pro dancer, 34, also apparently loves Davis, 27. It just remains unclear how deep and exactly what kind of love he feels towards the Olympic ice dancer.
"I love her. I love her!" Chmerkovskiy gushed. "I love her as a person and for what she has allowed me to do with our choreography and how much she's embraced it... I literally had a perfect partnership with Meryl. Everything just came together."
Chmerkovskiy added, "She's a brilliant person, and she's also very normal. I enjoyed my time with her. It was sad when the season was over, [but] I'll meet her for dinner, and everything is great."
Late last month, the couple was spotted being "super touchy-feely" with one another during an outing, according to a source.
"Before dinner they were in a corner talking really close. He kept kissing her on the forehead and was doting on her," the source told Us.
