The Hills' Lauren "Lo" Bosworth feels Heidi Montag's decision to undergo 10 plastic surgery procedures in one day is sending the wrong message to young girls.

"I hope that girls don't read the article, look at the decisions that Heidi made, and think that's normal," Bosworth told People in a Monday report.

Montag underwent the 10 procedures -- which included a nose job revision, a mini brow lift, bigger breast implants and buttock augmentation -- on November 20 and discussed them in a People cover story interview in the magazine's January 25 issue.

"Every starlet is getting surgery every other day to keep their looks up," Montag told People. "They just don't talk about it. I wanted to be honest."

Bosworth said Montag's claim is "just not true."

"I would never want young girls to read that and think it's the standard that they need to be measured by," Bosworth told People.

While she doesn't agree with the amount of Montag's procedures or her rational, she isn't completely "against" plastic surgery.

"If some wrinkles come across my face, sure, I'll get a little Botox, it's not a big deal," Bosworth told People.

"I think you should do what you want to do to take care of yourself. I just hope that the girls who look up to us and watch us don't look at what Heidi did as the only way to be successful and beautiful."

Bosworth and Montag's fellow The Hills' star Audrina Patridge previously told People that "10 procedures in one day is a little much." Former The Hills star Lauren Conrad declined comment when asked about Montag's procedures by People.
