Lisa Vanderpump insists fellow The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Adrienne Maloof was fired from the show and didn't leave by choice.

"She got the hoof! She says she walked away, but she didn't. She got the big Maloof hoof! And you can quote me on that!" Vanderpump told Us Weekly following Monday night's Dancing with the Stars performance show.

Maloof, 51, announced earlier this month she won't be returning to Bravo for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' fourth season.

"To my loyal fans... It was time to exit RHOBH. The show served as a wonderful platform, stay tuned!" Maloof tweeted at the time.

"The show served as a wonderful platform for all the amazing projects that I have in the works. I am forever grateful to my fans, thank you for your support, and stay tuned! xoxoA."

However, Maloof's statements did not clarify conflicting reports about whether she was fired from the show or actually chose to leave.

"She was let go," a show insider told People. "Producers were sick of her constant tardiness and her issues."

However, a Maloof source argued she opted to call it quits herself.

"It was her decision to leave. Adrienne is very happy. The producers were begging Adrienne to come back to the show and the reunion right up until the last minute," said the source. "Housewives was part of her past. She's looking to the future."

Maloof also did not participate in the filming of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' three-part Season 3 reunion show which began airing Monday night -- a decision that Vanderpump, 53, also openly bashed.

"I think you have to understand that when you sign up for something, it's a job, you know?" Vanderpump told Us. "The reunion is where you go and everything comes to fruition and you hash it out. And viewers want that the same way they want us to blog."

Vanderpump and her professional partner Gleb Savchenko finished tied for eighth place with three other couples on the judges' combined two-week Dancing with the Stars leaderboard with a total of 36 out of 60 possible points during last night's performance show.

One of the 12 couples will be eliminated during the reality dancing competition's first sixteenth-season live results show tonight at 9PM ET/PT on ABC.
