Jimmy from Philadelphia, PA, who currently resides in Los Angeles, CA, and Aida from Miami, FL, who currently resides in Los Angeles, CA, were the two comics eliminated from last night's show after they both lost the stand-up challenge at Hollywood Improv to Rod Man from Villa Rica, GA, who currently resides in Los Angeles, CA.

The episode began with the 10 finalists being broken up into two groups of five comics. Each team was given 90 minutes to cast, rehearse and prepare the same sketch comedy script to perform in front of a live audience at a Los Angeles comedy club.

After their performances, guest mentor Cheryl Hines selected the winning team, whose members would be safe from elimination.

The comics then each voted for someone on the losing team whom they believed they're funnier than. The comic to receive the most votes typically gets to choose whom he or she would like to compete against in the stand-up challenge out of the contestants who cast their votes for him or her.

Four comics voted for Jimmy, however, two of those voters had been on the winning team. Therefore, Jimmy did not have the ability to choose which two comics he'd like to face-off against in this week's three-way stand-up challenge.

Since Aida and Rod Man were the only two people who voted for Jimmy from the losing team, those two comics were forced to go up against him.

Last Comic Standing judges Roseanne Barr, Keenen Ivory Wayans and Russell Peters then determined the winner of the stand-up challenge, and that person was Rod Man. Aida and Jimmy were therefore sent home.
