Ralph Harris was revealed to be the sixth finalist eliminated from Last Comic Standing's fifth season during last night's broadcast of the NBC reality competition series.
The Valley Village, CA-resident was sent packing based on the results of home viewer voting that followed last week's performance episode broadcast, which saw the Top 5 finalists -- Ralph; Amy Schumer; Lavell Crawford; Gerry Dee; and Jon Reep -- each deliver a stand-up routine. After the broadcast, Last Comic Standing 5's international home viewing audience in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada cast their votes to determine who would be ousted.
Ralph's elimination wasn't revealed until the end of last night's broadcast. Gerry, Lavell, and Amy were all revealed to be safe and performed a stand-up routine before Bill announced John had claimed the final spot in the Top 4 and Ralph was going home. Home viewers in the U.S., U.K., Australia and Canada were allowed to vote for their favorite Top 4 finalist following last night's broadcast. Last Comic Standing 5's Top 3 finalists will be revealed on Wednesday, September 5 at 9PM ET/PT, in which they'll also battle for a spot in the final two. The show's two-hour live season finale will air on Wednesday, September 19 at 9PM ET/PT. The winner will receive a grand prize package that includes a talent contract deal with NBC, a Bravo half-hour comedy special and $250,000. |
