Jason Wahler surrendered to Seattle jail officials to face charges from an April arrest for assault, criminal trespass and underage drinking.

Wahler is known for his roles on the U.S. television shows "Laguna Beach" and "The Hills."

"He's making amends for his past arrest," his representative told Us magazine. "This is not a new arrest."

Although the 20-year-old actor faces 30 days behind bars, his representative said, "We hope it's cut short."

Wahler, who recently signed on to star in the horror movie "10,000 Doors," will have plenty of time to study lines.

"He is currently spending his time behind bars reading the script and getting ready for the role, so he has a lot to do," his representative told Us magazine.
