Kris Jenner's family has experienced many changes, including major ups and downs, in the year 2015. So how does Kris feel looking back while preparing to ring in the New Year?

On Sunday, Kris posted an image on Instagram that contained the following quote: "Whatever happened over this past year, be thankful for where it brought you. Where you are is where you're meant to be."

Kris, a 60-year-old mother of six and grandmother of five, captioned the graphic, "Be thankful, for there are so many beautiful reasons to smile!! Who's ready for 2016??? #thankful #excited #newyear."

The Kardashian/Jenner clan has been through quite a lot in the last year, especially within the last six months. Caitlyn Jenner publicly announced her transgender identity this past summer, and after transitioning into a female, had to re-establish bonds with her family since the change was a lot to process and understand.

Kourtney Kardashian split from her partner of nine years, Scott Disick, in early July although they have three children together all under the age of six. Khloe Kardashian's estranged husband, Lamar Odom, was then found unconscious in a Nevada brothel in October. The former NBA player has been fighting for his life and recovering from a drug overdose in the hospital ever since.

A couple of highs for the Keeping Up with the Kardashians family include Kendall Jenner's modeling career exploding, as she landed campaigns with Calvin Klein, Estee Lauder and even walked in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show earlier this month. Kim Kardashian and her husband Kanye West also welcomed their second child into the world this month, a son named Saint West.
