Kris Jenner says the public probably won't be seeing Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's new baby North for awhile.

"First of all, it was so funny because everybody kept saying, 'Is North going to be your first guest?'" Jenner told E! News on the set of her daytime talk show.

"And I'm like, 'North is 2 weeks old, you know, or 3 weeks old. So, no.' She's not even going to come out of the house until she's fully ready to be out and about with other people. She's a little too young."

However, Jenner explained the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is "doing great" since giving birth to North West on June 15 prematurely but in reported good health.

"She looks so good and feels so good, and that's the part I want her to do, just feel strong and healthy and have energy," Jenner told E! News. "She's working out, she's eating right."

Kardashian is apparently embracing being a new mother and Jenner is proudly watching in the wings.

"She's getting used to being a mom and she's doing a really good job," Jenner said. "She's fallen into this role in such an amazing [way]. I'm so proud of her. It's kind of delicious!"
