The reality TV star, 29, made the comment at the red carpet premiere of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" season five in Los Angeles. "I hate it (dating)," she added. "I don't like meeting new people."

People said that hasn't stopped Kardashian from trying.

Just broken up with longtime boyfriend NFL running back Reggie Bush, Kardashian has been linked to Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin, and has even been spotted on the sidelines of the NFL training camp in Texas, People said.

The hardest part is trying "to figure out if someone's genuine," she told the magazine, "if they want to be with you for you."

But she has devised a test to see if new guys are using her for her fame: "I always say, where do you want to go eat? If they pick a super trendy restaurant, then that's, like, the worst sign."
