Kim Kardashian's baby girl apparently arrived in what felt like a heartbeat, according to mom Kris Jenner.

"It all happened so fast," Jenner told reporters at the 40th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards on Sunday, according to Us Weekly. "They're doing well."

A day earlier, Kardashian welcomed her first child with rapper and boyfriend Kanye West. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star delivered the baby five weeks early, as she wasn't due until July.

"I cannot even begin 2 describe the miracle that is now a part of our family," Khloe Kardashian tweeted yesterday. "Mommy/baby are healthy & resting. We appreciate all of the love."

Conflicting reports have been circulating about whether Kim delivered the child naturally or via C-section and the circumstances of the baby girl's premature birth. According to X17 Online, doctors induced the pregnancy after Kim came down with an unspecified infection.

The baby girl, whose name has not yet been revealed but "will start with a K," weighed under five pounds, according to an E! News source. "She has dark hair. She looks just like Kim."

Kim reportedly gave birth early Saturday morning in Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. West was present at the hospital for his baby's arrival, Us reported.

Kim and West had announced the reality TV star was expecting in late December. West first spilled the news during a concert in Atlantic City when Kim was reportedly 12 weeks pregnant, leading his girlfriend to confirm her pregnancy only days later.

The couple had reportedly planned to take the baby on the road for West's tour later this fall.
