E! has announced the network has picked up a second season of Revenge Body with Khloe Kardashian, which documents participants transforming their lives physically, emotionally and mentally with the help of Hollywood's best trainers, stylists and Kardashian's own "glam squad" in preparation for a big reveal.

The new eight-episode season will feature a whole new crop of participants and famous trainers. Season 2 of Revenge Body will also allow for more drastic or dramatic transformations thanks to producers deciding to extend the makeovers over an unspecified longer period of time.

Last season, each participant underwent a 12-week process and the average weight-loss was about 30 pounds in that amount of time.

"I am so happy to have the opportunity to help people who are determined to make a change by allowing us to share in their personal struggles," Kardashian, the host and executive producer of Revenge Body, said in a statement.

"I'm proud to be part of their journey and contribute to each one of them gaining more strength, stamina, style and swagger."

Kardashian gained the tools from her divorce from Lamar Odom to develop a stronger mind, body and soul. She set out to change others' lives whom she can relate to, as she had been criticized growing up as being the "fat and funny" Kardashian sister.

While the premise of the show is to seek revenge on a person who has caused hurt or insecurity, the participants tend to realize quickly in their weight-loss journeys that it's really about bettering themselves, gaining confidence and growing stronger -- not about impressing others.

"We are thrilled Revenge Body with Khloe Kardashian is coming back with a vengeance for another season," E! executive Jeff Olde said in a statement.

"As the first season has shown, we were blown away by the evolution of the participants and Khloe's unique ability to connect, inspire and encourage others."

The debut season of Revenge Body with Khloe Kardashian premiered in January 2017 and wrapped in early March.

Revenge Body is produced by Khlomoney Entertainment, Rogue Atlas Productions in association with Lionsgate Television, and Ryan Seacrest Productions. In addition to Kardashian, Eli Frankel, Kris Jenner, Ryan Seacrest, Larissa Matsson also serve as executive producers.
