Kanye West has reached a settlement with the teenage boy he assaulted in the waiting room of a Beverly Hills chiropractor earlier this month.

The victim has agreed to a civil settlement of more than $250,000 and does not feel the need to pursue a criminal prosecution, TMZ reported.

The 18-year-old originally demanded closer to $1 million during negotiations, according to the website, so he clearly ended up with much less.

According to officials, the district attorney has yet to determine whether West will be charged with battery although it's reportedly unlikely since the victim is satisfied with his settlement and allegedly used many offensive racial slurs prior to the incident. In addition, the rapper could have many supporters in the jury pool.

West's civil lawyer Shawn Holley reportedly declined comment when contacted.

West had allegedly punched the 18-year-old guy more than 30-plus times inside an undisclosed medical center's waiting room.

The incident began when the young man allegedly launched a profanity-filled tirade against West's fiancee Kim Kardashian outside of the building. When the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star called West to come to her defense, the teen also yelled out the word "n-gg-r" so West could hear it, reportedly prompting the rapper to rush to the scene.

A receptionist in the waiting room reportedly tried to put an end to the fight by screaming, "Stop, stop," but a massage therapist was finally able to break up the assault when she pushed West off of the boy and demanded he leave the office.
