Jessica Spillas still insists she was dating Justin Rego when The Bachelorette's sixth season filmed earlier this year and says there's no merit to his claim that her own "15 minutes of fame" is the only reason she told Ali Fedotowsky they were together.

"That's completely ridiculous. We were 1,000% exclusive," Spillas told ET Canada in a Tuesday interview.

"Ali looked him right in the eye and said, 'Was Jessica lying?' He couldn't even say that. It's pretty self-explanatory."

Rego was eliminated by Fedotowsky during Monday night's The Bachelorette broadcast after Spillas told her over the phone that the two were dating.

Spillas also told Fedotowsky that the only reason she decided to out Rego was because she recently learned he had also been dating another woman named Kimberly Kerekes -- meaning he allegedly had two at-home girlfriends during filming.

"When it came down to it, it was just like there's two girls already in this situation. There really doesn't need to be three," Spillas told ET Canada about her decision to come forward.

Rego has denied that he and Spillas were together when The Bachelorette filmed despite sending Spillas text messages stating that she meant "the world" to him and he wanted to marry her shortly before leaving for the show.

"I think my biggest mistake in that relationship was I definitely valued his happiness over mine," Spillas told ET Canada. "I put his thoughts and his feelings before my own."

In addition, Spillas denied that she and Rego were in cahoots together and both sought fame via his The Bachelorette stint.

"Absolutely not," she told ET Canada. "That wasn't even a thought in my head."
