The Duggar family has stood by Josh Duggar in public as his molestation past comes back to haunt him and continues to make headlines, but behind closed doors, no one wants anything to do with him.

Josh's clan has dubbed his prior criminal offenses -- molesting five young girls, including his own sisters, when he was 14-years-old -- "teenage mistakes." His wife Anna, 26, has also been outwardly supportive.

But according to a 19 Kids & Counting insider, Anna and Josh "are barely speaking," OK! Weekly reported in its June 29 issue. "Josh did tell her about his past before they were married, but he definitely downplayed it."

Josh's sisters Jill Dillard, 24, and Jessa Seewald, 22, were two of the girls Josh had forcibly fondled, according to a 2006 police report.

The news had prompted TLC to pull the plug on his family's show, but there was still talk of a potential spinoff starring Jill, Jessa and their new husbands. However, the chance of a spinoff for the girls has now been damaged because the public has viewed Josh's scandal extremely negatively.

"They were becoming the superstars of the family," said the insider. "They're devastated -- and terribly resentful of Josh... Josh is the reason the gravy train came to a screeching halt. He's ruined their main source of income, and they're furious."

Josh and Anna had moved to Oxon Hill, MD, from Josh's home state of Arkansas in 2013 with their three children. They reportedly had 27 relatives and friends assisting them in their trek across the country.

So surprisingly, Josh was recently spotted moving out of his Oxon Hill home with two trucks -- and no help. Josh and Anna are heading back to Arkansas, as Josh bought a house in Siloam Springs earlier this year, OK! reported.

"Anna is due to give birth to their fourth child in less than a month, and she needed helping hands more than ever," the insider explained. "But the family abandoned them, all saying they were 'too busy.'"

Anna is allegedly worried she'll be "stuck" with the Duggars now, whom all blame Josh for their hardships.

"She feels trapped," the insider noted, adding that Jill and Jessa also have plans to distance themselves and their little families from their older brother.

Once Josh returns home, the Duggar patriarch Jim Bob Duggar has to figure out "what to do with" the former automotive/towing businessman, according to the OK! source. "No stranded driver wants to see Josh pull up in a tow truck."
