Funeral services for Weidenheimer were held on Saturday in Pennsylvania, Entertainment Tonightreported.
Affectionately known as "Nana Janet," Weidenheimer appeared in Jon & Kate Plus 8's early episodes as a voluntary assistant who cared for the family's eight children.
Most notably, she rode a pony during the sextuplet's third birthday party in an October 2007 second-season episode.
"Nana Janet, she is entertaining. She's 69, she's crazy -- she's really loud and fun," said Kate Gosselin during the episode.
In addition, Gosselin referred to Weidenheimer as a "pseudo grandparent."
