ABC has announced The Bachelorette fifth-season star Jillian Harris and her fiance Ed Swiderski will offer Pavelka advice before he eliminates 10 of his suitors during The Bachelor's fourteenth-season premiere on Monday, January 4 at 8PM ET/PT.

Harris -- who rejected Pavelka right before The Bachelorette's fifth-season hometown dates -- and Swiderski will surprise Pavelka's 25 bachelorettes during the first night of the competition just before he's about to present one of them with the first-impression rose.

Once Harris and Swiderski help Pavelka make his decision, they'll "share a special announcement with Jake," according to ABC.

The Bachelor's fourteenth season -- dubbed The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love -- will begin with the 31-year-old commercial pilot from Dallas, TX arriving at the same Malibu mansion where he first met Harris.

He'll then be introduced to his 25 suitors, including a "stunning model" who is the first woman out of the limousines; a "bold, fast-talking bachelorette" who asks to touch his abs; and a "sexy blonde" who literally falls right into his arms.

Once inside the competition to impress Pavelka only intensifies, as one woman confesses a fear of flying, a teacher dons a revealing flight attendant's uniform and steals him away from an unsuspecting single mom, and an athletic woman grabs him for a quick game of touch football -- which turns into a blondes vs. brunettes, barefoot-in-eveningwear football scrimmage.

However the mood returns to serious when The Bachelor host Chris Harrison arrives and reveals it's time for Pavelka to present one of the woman with the first-impression rose -- which he does after meeting with Harris and Swiderski.

The premiere will conclude with Pavelka whittling his 25 bachelorettes down to 15.

According to ABC, some of the dates Pavelka and his bachelorettes will embark during the season will include a photo shoot for InStyle Magazine's February issue; a private plane ride to Palm Springs for a Chicago concert; a trip to Six Flags Magic Mountain, where they have the amusement park all to themselves; bungee jumping off the Bridge to Nowhere in the San Gabriel Mountains; a trip to the Jon Lovitz Comedy Club, where the ladies find out they are the ones performing; a road trip up California's coast; dinner at Napa Valley's Castillo di Amorosa; and a San Francisco visit that culminates in a romantic dinner for two at the top of Coit Tower.

The Final 3 women will vacation with Pavelka to St. Lucia, where the fourteenth season's finale Rose Ceremony will occur.

The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love will be the first The Bachelor edition to air in HDTV.
