The discomfort Jessica King was feeling was apparently worse than she initially suspected, forcing her to withdraw as a So You Think You Can Dance fourth-season finalist.

"The pain in my side that I've been having is a little bit more than just a cramp.  I broke two ribs and fractured one," said King at the onset of last night's So You Think You Can Dance performance episode on Fox.

"The doctors told me that I could not dance anymore, for about four more weeks. So I've got to heal and get better so I can go on tour."

While Fox had announced on Monday that the 23-year-old contemporary dancer from Myrtle Beach, SC had been forced to withdraw as a So You Think You Can Dance Top 10 fourth-season finalist, the nature of her injury hadn't been revealed until last night.

King was replaced by Comfort Fedoke, who had been eliminated from the competition at the conclusion of last Thursday night's live results show.

Following a hip-hop routine Fedoke performed with her new partner Twitch Boss during last night's broadcast, So You Think You Can Dance judge and executive producer Nigel Lythgoe complimented King's replacement.

"I hope Jessica feels well represented because you did a great job tonight," said Lythgoe.  "Welcome back Comfort, welcome back."

Tonight at 9PM ET/PT, two more dancers will be eliminated based on home viewer votes cast immediately after last night's broadcast, revealing the Top 8 finalists.
