Javi Marroquin has confirmed his romance with Teen Mom 2 star Briana DeJesus.

Javi, who currently stars on Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars with his ex-wife Kailyn Lowry, told People of his relationship with Briana that they "decided to make it official" after the pair reunited for the taping of Teen Mom 2's reunion special in Los Angeles this past weekend.

"We are dating," Javi told People. "We've been friends for a while and we weren't in a rush."

Briana, however, declined comment on her love life.

Although Javi just confirmed he's romantically involved with Briana, the couple had been dropping hints about their bond on social media over the last month.

Briana shared an Instagram photo on Sunday of Javi and herself with the caption, "Daddy Javi," following it up one day later with another picture of them together with the caption, "Daddy Javi p2."

As for Javi, he also shared two photos of the pair on Instagram.

"Views," he captioned an image of the couple standing side-by-side in front of a city skyline.

In a second post, Javi wrote, "I have a 6 pack from laughing so hard these last couple of days #IMY#SCORPION #BAE#CHICKENFINGERS&BBQ #GAPING#BOUJEE #YOUCHANGEDINLA#PLAYTHATCARDIIIIB."

The reality TV stars are both parents. Briana has two daughters -- Nova, 6, with ex-boyfriend Devoin Austin and Stella, 3 months, with ex-boyfriend Luis Hernandez.

Javi shares three-year-old son Lincoln with Kailyn, who also stars on Teen Mom 2. He also fills the stepdad role to Isaac, who is Kailyn's son from her previous relationship with Jo Rivera.

In mid-September, Javi visited Briana and her sister, Brittney, in Florida, and later that month, he returned to the state with his Lincoln and Isaac to spend more time with Briana and her immediate family, according to People.

Although one might think Kailyn would be upset about Javi's new romance, the exes seem to have an at least somewhat amicable relationship after filming Marriage Boot Camp.

Javi and Kailyn are writing a book together, He Said She Said, and Javi captioned an October Instagram post of himself kissing his ex-wife on the cheek.

"Despite everything that happened between us I'm happy we are at a place where we can go to events... have a good time and be civil," Javi wrote. "We're doing a pretty good job raising these kids @kaillowry #oneteam."
