'Jackass' star Johnny Knoxville and wife Melanie separate

It's apparently no joke, as Jackass star Johnny Knoxville and Melanie Klapp, his wife of more than 11 years, have reportedly separated, according to People.

While legal papers have yet to be filed, Knoxville's publicist Amanda Silverman told People, "They've been separated for quite some time."
Klapp wed the 35-year-old Knoxville in 1995, and the couple has a 10-year-old daughter together, Madison, whose name is tattooed on the prankster's chest. After filming 2005's The Dukes of Hazard, Knoxville and fellow Dukes co-star and MTV reality star Jessica Simpson both "shot down" rumors that they'd had a fling.
"Usually you just laugh and go on. [But] if it's something like they've done to Jessica and I, it's not as funny because I have a wife and kid," Knoxville told a reporter in August 2005. "Luckily, my wife is understanding. It's show business."
While both were married at the time, it looks like that's no longer the case for either.
