Fox has announced MasterChef, a new culinary competition series that will feature Hell's Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares star Gordon Ramsay, will premiere Thursday, July 29 at 9PM ET/PT.
The contestants will compete head-to-head with each other in an attempt to create delicious dishes that will ultimately be judged by Ramsay, restaurateur wine maker Joe Bastianich and four-star chef Graham Elliot Bowles.
In addition, Ramsay, Bastianich and Bowles will coach the contestants along the way with the hopes of making them professionals. "I'm hugely excited to have Joe and Graham join me as judges on MasterChef," said Ramsay. "Both bring a phenomenal wealth of expertise and professional experience to the show." Fox ordered MasterChef last November, and the reality series is being produced by Ramsay's One Potato Two Potato production company, Reveille and Shine TV. MasterChef will be the second Ramsay show to air on Fox next summer. Hell's Kitchen's seventh season will premiere with a two-hour episode on Thursday, June 7 at 8PM ET/PT and will continue to air two-hour episodes throughout its broadcast run.
