The former The Surreal Life fourth-season and Fame Games housemate was rushed to the hospital on Wednesday after experiencing "flu-like symptoms" while filming The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus in Burnaby, British Columbia, a source close to Troyer toldUs Weekly.
"He's been working really hard on the film. They just wanted to hydrate him," the source told Us.
An eyewitness claimed an ambulance transported the Austin Powers star -- who suffers from dwarfism -- to Burnaby Hospital where he was checked out and subsequently released, E! News reported.
"He is fine," Troyer's manager Elena Fondacaro told E! News. "He is already back at work."
The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus is the same film that actor Heath Ledger was working on at the time of his death.
