Former 'The Simple Life' star Nicole Richie gives birth to baby girl

Former reality TV star Nicole Richie, singer Lionel Richie's adopted daughter, has given birth to a baby girl in Los Angeles.

Harlow Winter Kate Madden, Richie's first child with her boyfriend, Good Charlotte front man Joel Madden, was born at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, the couple's representative at Handprint Entertainment told People.com Friday.
"The beautiful healthy baby girl left the hospital with her ecstatic parents," the representative said.
