Extreme Makeover: Home Edition host Ty Pennington is extending the ABC reality show's goal of helping families who have been victimized by unfortunate situations into his personal life as well.

Pennington has announced that he is offering a $10,000 reward to anyone with information regarding a January 17 hit-and-run accident that has left a bicyclist on life support at UCLA Medical Center, E! News reported on Wednesday.

Daniel Seeck, a 33-year-old Los Angeles attorney who is the cousin of Bill Stankey, Pennington's co-manager, was reportedly struck by a vehicle while riding a bike in Santa Monica, according to a statement released by Pennington's representative, E! News reported. The statement added that a red SUV was seen in the area immediately following the crash.
