The second child the second for Lozada, who already has a 20-year-old daughter, Shaniece, from a previous relationship.
"I'm excited about being a mommy all over again," she said. "This is something I've been wanting for years and I can't believe it’s finally happening."
Lozada divorced Chad Johnson after only two months of marriage in 2012.
She filed for divorce after an August 2012 domestic violence incident in which Johnson allegedly heat-butted Lozada after she found a receipt for condoms and confronted him about it outside their Florida home. Lozada suffered a laceration on her forehead from the blow, which reportedly required stitches.
Johnson and Lozada's previously-ordered Ev and Ocho reality series -- a spinoff of VH1's Basketball Wives that had been scheduled to premiere only a month later -- was canceled by the network following the domestic violence altercation.
