Detroit residents correct 'American Idol' error about Hitsville USA

Detroit residents took to Twitter and Facebook to correct "American Idol" host Ryan Seacrest's statement about the location of Hitsville USA.

Seacrest said during Wednesday's live show, which featured the Top 11 contestants singing Motown hits, the former headquarters of Motown Records, Berry Gordy's Hitsville USA, is located in the suburbs of Detroit, the Detroit Free Press reported Thursday.
However, Detroiters quickly took to social media sites to proclaim the West Grand Boulevard location of the buildings is actually well within the city limits.
