'Dancing with the Stars' pro Tony Dovolani proud new parent of twins

By John Bracchitta, 09/08/2008

Dancing With The Stars professional dancer Tony Dovolani has two new dance students.  Dovolani's wife Lina gave birth to twins -- one boy and one girl -- at a Connecticut hospital nearby their home on Monday morning.

"We are so happy, I can't stop smiling," Dovolani told People after the early morning births, which occurred first at 3:14 a.m. for son Adrian Driton Dovolani and 14 minutes later for daughter Ariana Dovolani. "Lina was such a champ, and she looks incredible right now."

The couple, who have been together for eight years, now has three children. Their first daughter, Luana, was born in August 2005.

Dovolani was informed that Lina had gone into labor while participating in a practice session with Susan Lucci, his celebrity partner for Dancing with the Stars' seventh season that will premiere on September 22.

He added that while he had felt bad about cutting the practice short, Lucci was very "understanding" of the situation and even forced him into action.

"She told me, 'What are you waiting for? Go!'" Dovolani exclaimed while imitating his dance partner's reaction.
